Good at stating the problems, not so good on solutions. One thing I (Tim Bulkeley) would change is the focus on the woman, marriage is about a couple. Of course, a couple 'cannot have it all' either, there are continual compromises - not least the decision to have children is hugely expensive. Not just in lost earnings, through time spent out of the workforce, but also usually through promotions missed, but also in terms of hobbies and interests. but caring for children and watching them grow is hugely satisfying and exciting as well.
